Fotile steam oven error codes
5 codes for ChefCubii HYZK26-E1 / HYZK26-E2 countertop combi-steam ovens, transcribed from the official documentation with page references.
All of Fotile's numeric codes point to a sensor or board fault that the manual says needs service. The only owner-fixable message is "Add water please".
| Code | What it means | Likely cause | What to do | Service? |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| E2 | Steam generator temperature sensor fault. | Short circuit or open circuit of the steam generator NTC. | Contact Fotile to arrange service. | Call service |
| E3 | Control board cannot talk to the display. | Abnormal communication between the control panel and display panel. | Contact Fotile to arrange service. | Call service |
| F3 | Oven cavity temperature probe open circuit. | Open circuit of the cavity probe. | Contact Fotile to arrange service. | Call service |
| F4 | Oven cavity temperature probe short circuit. | Short circuit of the cavity probe. | Contact Fotile to arrange service. | Call service |
| Add water please | Tank is low or the water path has failed. | Low water level in the tank; if the tank is full, a failed water pipeline system. | Fill the tank with an appropriate amount of water. If the message persists with a full tank, call the Fotile after-sales hotline. | Owner fix |

Before you call Fotile
- Refill and re-seat the water tank, and straighten any inlet or drain hose you can reach.
- Run the descale program if the oven has one, with the manufacturer's descaler, not vinegar.
- Switch the oven off at the wall for a minute and back on. One power-cycle is in nearly every manual; repeated resets are not.
- If the same code returns, note it with the serial number and book service. Every sensor, probe, fan or board code above is listed by Fotile as a service call.
Maintenance that prevents the water codes

A general-purpose steam-oven descaler, for ovens whose manual allows a generic one (Anova says any descaling liquid works). Miele and Thermador name their own descalers; use those instead.
